Vineeto’s Correspondence with Torren on Discuss Actualism Forum TORREN: Hello My name is Torren Curtis 16 year grandson of what I’m guessing is your prophet Richard on my mothers side. Before any of you ask no I myself am not “free” or particularly enlightened neither are any of his children (quick question did he ever acknowledge his kids in his writings?) even though I lived close to Richard I only met him once when I was very young. He lived on a broken down houseboat on a river. my mum and him weren’t very close in fact we were the first people that got the call when he was in intensive care we were in Cairns on holiday standing in a line at Woolworths and my mum just said “Richard is in intensive care” completely nonchalantly. Up until June in fact I had zero idea this whole… Cult?... Way of life? His family calls it a cult anyway. I’m kind of amazed that this has spawned an active community. Anyway thats my spiel bye bye! VINEETO: Hi Torren, I remember your visit about 10 years ago when you came with your brother and mother. We went to a beach and then to the houseboat for a chat. I find it cute that Richard’s discovery about feeling good for the rest of one’s life is dismissed as a cult while children are taught that life is serious and earnest, full of obligations and duties and what not. You are not allowed to feel good every moment of your life, oh no! One day you might want to make up your own mind what you want from life and not believe everything you are told and taught but find out some facts for yourself.
